It’s a simple, straightforward process. the hustle grant team reviews/evaluates grant applications daily and finalists.  We discuss each finalist and vote to determine a winner.

As long as you’re a woman who is 18 years or older, your business is 50% women-owned, and operates in the United States — you’re eligible to apply.

Yes, non-profits are eligible.

Once we receive your application, we’ll send an email confirmation. Be sure to check your spam if you don’t see the email within a short time.

1. Your story. We want to know about your passion, business skills, and vision. If you believe in what you're doing, it helps us believe in it too.

2. Explain how you plan to grow or start your business. You don't need a formal business plan. Just tell us how you'll make your business successful, including the challenges you've faced and are still facing.

3. Describe how you'd use the grant money. Be specific about where the money would go if you win. Share details about your spending plans.

Applications for the hustle grant do not roll forward. 

Yes, you can reapply, but you should only consider doing this when something significant has changed to your business model or circumstances that has positively impacted your company.

Our recommendation is that you reapply after 3 months.

The fee makes the hustle grant and operation of our website — including reviewing each application, much like a college application — possible. The nominal $15 application fee is the only fee we charge.

We don’t charge additional fees if you are awarded a grant. Please also note that fees are non-refundable if you are not awarded the grant.
